Presbyterian Theological School (PTS)

Even in the midst of turmoil, uncertainty, and spiritual darkness, God is faithfully at work — calling, shaping, and sending new laborers into His harvest. Amid war, division, and deep cultural shifts, the Church needs not only courageous hearts, but theologically grounded minds — leaders who love Christ, serve His people, and proclaim His gospel with conviction and clarity.

That is why, in 2024, we took a step of faith and founded the John Knox Theological School, beginning humbly with 15 students, most from our own denomination. It was born out of a deep need: to raise up pastors, church planters, teachers, and servants of Christ who are rooted in Scripture, reformed in theology, and resilient in spirit.

And the Lord has multiplied this work beyond what we could have imagined.
In 2025, by God’s grace, we now serve 48 students from over 10 countries — including men and women from Ukraine, Russia, Belarus, and beyond. In a time marked by conflict and separation, our classrooms have become places of unity in Christ, reconciliation, and hope.

Our vision is simple, but urgent:
To equip faithful shepherds for the Church — leaders who will rightly handle the Word of God, love Christ’s bride, and stand firm in truth when many turn aside.

A theological school is more than an academic institution — it is a greenhouse for gospel growth, a training ground for future generations of spiritual leaders. When the Church is under pressure, it is all the more vital that her teachers be strong in doctrine, clear in thought, and humble in heart.

We ask for your prayers:

  • For our students, as they balance study, ministry, and family life in often difficult circumstances.

  • For our faculty and staff, that they may teach with wisdom, conviction, and grace.

  • For the Church in Eastern Europe and beyond — that through this training, God would raise up workers prepared to preach, serve, suffer, and rejoice for His name’s sake.

May the Lord use John Knox Theological School to build up His Church — not with popularity or power, but with truth, love, and faithfulness that endures. The need is great. The harvest is ready. And Christ is building His Church.
